The Movie Twilight: My Thoughts

I watched this movie to see what it was all about and why I felt like there was something wrong with it. I didn't want to hear someone else's thoughts- I wanted to process this with God unbiased and uninfluenced by others. So I rented it tonight. Watched it with my boys and my husband and have discussed everything I am going to say with my husband in depth.

Well I'll say what God has asked me to say and what I feel in my spirit- you take it thru your spiritual discernment and see what He says to you.

As someone who is totally aware, from a young age and exposed to all manner of perversity from romance novels to erotic novels to pornography and fornication and eventually a horrific gang rape when I was 19- as I went into this I asked God to show me what He wanted me to see and without a doubt, hands down, bar none the strongest thing I felt and saw was big dark deep eroticism.

Many times in the church we are so drawn into the aspect of men and pornography, perversity with men and boys- and we miss out on the reality , as Beth Moore and Kay Arthur and other godly women ministers have said that perversity and sexual addition is not just a male thing. Every girl dreams of prince charming and every girl dreams of the man of her dreams. Sadly, as is the case with all demonic activity, distortion comes in and death is always the goal.

Bella is drawn to Edward and while I see many spiritual things such as I feel just like Edward many times in this life- with supernatural powers that sometimes startle me, I feel like he does allot of the time amongst common men and women. I have suffered great depression and even suicidal thoughts because of my prophetic giftings. I can relate and think that's a good insight. I also like how he controls his power. I like how he holds back and won't harm her. But here's the clincher. She at the end brings to light something very important:

She tells him to never ever leave her. She is in utter fear and horror to be without him. As a married woman of 18 years, I have a pure undefiled love with my husband. All perversity that I was exposed to was healed when I got married to Alan. He has been the only man I have ever known or desired for since the day I gave my oath to God to be married to him. Even during horrible times in our marriage by God's grace I never slipped into adultery, perversity or any substitute of him. Why do I say this- because I know what it is like to not ever want to be without Alan. I know what it's like to not want to have to walk thru this life without him and I know it's a pure desire- to not want to ever be separated from him... however.. and this is important....

When I had my first boyfriend at 11 and I gave up my virginity at 12 years old something dark and evil came into me physically and in my spirit: it was the desire for death if I ever had to be alone. This deep dark desire to be loved and to never ever want to be alone led me into all manner of sin and scary things. It was this desire that made me attempt suicide at 16 because of a boyfriend, I said I'd want to die if I could not be with him. THAT is far different than the pure love I have for Alan and do not want to be apart from him. I don't want to die if God takes Alan home, I just don't want to be without him.

My initial readings on this movie, my initial thoughts were about the vampires, the dark activities, the transporting and the witchcraft. After seeing it I have a big concern and those are not it. This movie has the power to open the lid on eroticism and sexual addiction in girls and women at a level that is dangerous. I am curious how many women have horrible dreams with sexual thoughts after this movie. I wonder how many girls are having horrific struggles with lust, looking for Edwards characteristics in the boys they know.

This is just my concern. This is just my opinion. As a writer and as a prophet I will publish my concerns but I would judge or think every woman that loved this movie is having these problems- I am just giving the discerning thoughts I have had while watching this movie. I pray you'll ask Holy Spirit to speak to you :)

It’s a GOOD word… it is unpopular to say, “What the Bible says is true!” Funny thing- the Bible itself said it would be UNPOPULAR to say what it says is true! Panic is not the believer’s portion… but stupidity isn’t either! Keep preaching it David- keep bringing it! Those who have an ear to hear, will hear! Those who panic and are drinking of the toxic cultural hypnosis… well they can go find another blog!

As President Elect Obama Steps Foot Again In Elkhart County, Indiana

Dear praying friends-

It has been said that the newspaper is the Christian's report card as to how well they are doing in prayer. The ministry of intercession and militant intercession is so needful at this time.

As President Elect Obama steps foot once again in Elkhart county we must pray that his anti-family and anti-life spirit and heart does not remain but departs with him. May we pray that our county, one founded on belief that God is the Provider and the Keeper of our lives, would not turn to governmental-trust and governmental-provision at this time.

When we have one of the highest national levels of unemployment, may we never take into our hearts, into our homes and into our beliefs the notion that we must become governmentally dependant in order to provide for our families.

On Thursday the news revealed the split-mindedness of our nation: A woman of 60 years old gave birth to 2 babies 8 weeks premature and it was celebrated. On the exact same day an 18 year old went to abort her 23 week old baby, the abortion failed and the baby was born alive, but placed in a garbage bag. A double-minded man is unstable in ALL his ways. A double-minded nation is equally unstable.

The Bible says in James1

Jam 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jam 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
Jam 1:8 A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways.

double minded comes from the Greek word: dipsychos - meaning a) wavering, uncertain, doubting b) divided in interest

To be divided in interest, be uncertain and to doubt at this time will cause our county to go further into trouble. To be divided in interest, wavering and doubting could be a reason many do not have prayers answered.

We cannot cry out in faith for help from God and expect to receive any thing of the Lord if we are partnering in our hearts with evil.

May we cry and fast and pray for an AWAKENING to come to this county, to this nation. May the spirit of slumber CEASE and a desire to FIGHT on the battlefield of this Spirit war arise.

I do not believe for one minute there is nothing we can do..... I believe wholeheartedly there is quite alot we can do!

1Ki 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD [be] God, follow him: but if Baal, [then] follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

May Elkhart county and the people of Indiana choose now who they will follow.

God was not silent on my behalf when Jesus died for me, I will not be silent as His representative!

It is really time to pray.

This is no longer a Republican/ Democrat issue- take a peek at www.whitehouse.gov. I really DO NOT work to be politically correct- I work to be BIBLICALLY correct.

The first 100 days of a new administration sets the course for what will unfold over the term of the presidency.

What are we going to do? Why aren't we informed? How has the Body of Christ fallen asleep at the wheel of the nation? We must ask ourselves these hard questions. The truth is that we have no one to blame but ourselves. The church must awaken and cry out against injustice in every form—-both moral and social. We need to learn to pray, write, talk, coalesce, and be informed as never before

The floodgates have been opened with this new administration that has said that it will, among other things, pass a Freedom of Choice bill that will undo all the pro-life laws across the nation.

Recently, I became aware of what is being called “The Abortion Manifesto”. This is a document that was presented to President Obama for use during his first 100 Days in Office. It is officially called Advancing Reproductive Rights and Health in a New Administration, and was signed by a list of heavy hitters such as the American Civil Liberties Union [ACLU].

Just last week, President Obama reversed the ban on the rescinded the Mexico City Policy, lifting restrictions previously placed upon non-governmental organizations from using federal funding received to perform abortions overseas. Yesterday, Congress approved the President's economic stimulus bill, which originally included hundreds of millions of dollars to fund the abortion industry.

Some of the suggestions contained in The Abortion Manifesto are already well under way according to the actions that our new administration has taken within its first two weeks in office. We must, however, diligently pray that God will intervene so that what is written in this Abortion Manifesto, as well as on the www.whitehouse.gov website under Women's Rights, will not be carried out any further.

Here are just a few of the points of President Obama's MAIN focus.

1. Support for the LGBT Community (lesbian/gay/bi-sexual/transgender)
2. Expanded hate crimes bills. These are the type of bills that stop all “hate speech”, such as pastors preaching against homosexuality from their pulpits.
3. Support of Full Civil Unions and Federal Rights for LGBT Couples
4. Opposition to a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage
5. Repeal “Don't Ask-Don't Tell” policies in the military
6. Expand adoption rights for same sex-same couples
7. Expand human embryonic stem cell research, which destroys human embryos
8. Opposition to any attempt to overturn Roe v. Wade
9. Increased funding for birth control and abortions

Standing in the gap believing GOD for the babies, the children, the teens and the future of our nation!
